The Performance, Leadership and Character Development programs combine sports performance research, hands-on training and educational resources to provide tangible ways to improve individuals, teams, and organizations. By partnering with the university, learners have the opportunity to concurrently earn academic credit or a variety of certifications.

Academic Programs

Bachelor of Science in Sports Leadership & Management

This program lays the groundwork for future sports professionals, teaching team development, strategic leadership and sports management. The Bachelor of Science in Sports Leadership & Management is offered 100% online to help accommodate those with additional commitments on or off the field. Our graduates enter the workforce prepared to lead and innovate, making them strong candidates for leadership roles within organizations.

Master of Science in Sports Leadership

Develop the skills needed to optimally lead yourself and effectively lead teams and organizations. ACU’s M.S. in Sports Leadership expands on your knowledge of what it takes to be a good teammate, partner, and leader in the sports world. You gain the skills you need to achieve your goals and aspirations of enhancing the athletic performance, and overall mental and physical health of others, as well as your own.

Custom Courses

Our experience in developing programs and courses from professional sport organizations to individual high schools results in flexibility and customization, equipping athletes and sports leaders with the core curriculum they need and accommodate their busy schedules. Custom courses can be developed for academic credit or for professional development to suit an organization’s needs.
